This morning we are in the third week of our series, The Parables of Jesus: Windows into Reality, in which we are exploring ten of Jesus’ most famous parables. Today, we reach the Parable of the Soils, found in Mark 4:1-20. This parable reveals why people respond to Jesus so differently. Our response to him is dependent on the condition of the soil of our heart—and only one soil produces a harvest that will last.
