We continue our study of the greatest letter ever written the letter of Paul to the Romans or, more simply, Romans. It is a timeless, divinely-inspired masterpiece on the joy-filled freedom found in Jesus. Last week we began with an overview via Romans 1:1. Today we dig into Paul’s opening in 1:1-7. As he begins, Paul carefully foreshadows the contents of his letter: God sent his long- promised Son, for the sake of his people, and the glory of his name, among all the nations. This is news that we too must hear—and heed—for our eternal good.
