Walking with God as You Wait

Media, Psalms: Walking With God, Sermons | by Pastor Justin Keogh

Psalms: Walking With God

We continue in our series of sermons on the Psalms that will run in parallel to our series on Romans. Its purpose is to help us learn from the psalmists what it means to faithfully walk with God through the ups-and-downs of life in a world marred by sin. Today, in Psalm 130, we see how to draw near to God by acknowledging and confessing our sin, hoping in His Word, and waiting faithfully for and with Him.

Edifying Speech

Media, Sermons, The Living Word 2019 | by Pastor Justin Keogh

The Living Word 2019

Today is the third of five fall sermons in a series we are calling The Living Word, based on Hebrews 4:12, in which God’s Word is described as ”living and active.” His Word is alive and changes lives. To demonstrate this we asked five pastors, and leaders, to share a passage the Lord has been using in their lives to convict, comfort and/or challenge them. Our hope is to show the living nature of God’s word today and, in turn, be moved to study it, trust it, and immerse our lives in it. Today, Pastor Justin expounds on Paul’s instructions for our speech in Ephesians 4:29-30.

Keeping Yourselves in the Love of God

Jude, Media, Sermons | by Pastor Justin Keogh

Jude

Today is week four of our five-week series in the letter of Jude. God is writing this letter, through Jude, to warn against the false teaching that had crept into the church and remind believers to stand firm in the faith; to stand firm in the Gospel and the authority of Jesus Christ. Jude roots us in our identity as those who are beloved by the trinitarian God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and issues an urgent call for us in Christ to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. Today, in verses 17-23, Jude expands on how we are to contend for the faith, by keeping ourselves in the love of God.
