The Unrighteousness of All People

We are currently working through a crucial section (1:18-3:20) in which Paul reveals God’s just wrath on human unrighteousness in order to demonstrate the need of every human for a Savior. In 3:9-20 Paul concludes this important section by confronting us with the sobering reality that all people are “under sin.”

The Gospel Of God

We continue our study of the greatest letter ever written the letter of Paul to the Romans or, more simply, Romans. It is a timeless, divinely-inspired masterpiece on the joy-filled freedom found in Jesus. Last week we began with an overview via Romans 1:1. Today we dig into Paul’s opening in 1:1-7. As he begins, Paul carefully foreshadows the contents of his letter: God sent his long- promised Son, for the sake of his people, and the glory of his name, among all the nations. This is news that we too must hear – and – heed for our eternal good.
