Noah’s Reverent and Active Faith

Hebrews 11, Media, Sermons | by Pastor Justin Keogh

Hebrews 11

We continue our series in Hebrews 11, Living Forward to a Better Country, where the author of Hebrews calls us to faithful endurance through the portraits of ancient believers. Today, we consider the example of Noah, whose reverent and active faith serves as an example of how we, as heirs of righteousness by faith, are to live today in light of Christ’s future return.

Hebrews 11

This morning we begin a new series in Hebrews 11 working through the Roll Call of Faith. The author of Hebrews calls us to faithful endurance through the portraits of ancient believers. Since A Death Has Occurred

Media, Sermons, The Living Word 2022 | by Pastor Ruban Monu

The Living Word 2022

Today is the second of five fall sermons in a series we are calling The Living Word, based on Hebrews 4:12, in which God’s Word is described as “living and active.” His Word is alive and changes lives. To demonstrate this we asked five pastors, and leaders, to share a passage the Lord has been using in their lives to convict, comfort and/or challenge them. Our hope is to show the living nature of God’s word today and, in turn, be moved to study it, trust it, and immerse our lives in it. Today, we consider Jesus’ death and its implications amidst our trials and everyday lives.

New People: Living Together

Disciple: Living For Jesus, Media, Sermons | by Edward Sumner

Disciple: Living For Jesus

We continue unpacking what it means to be 'in Christ' through being a people living together in light of our identity as God's people. Looking at text from Titus 2 and Hebrews 10, we see that we are a people for God's own treasured possession and in order to live our lives as His possession, we are called and invited into community. Community with fellow believers is a privilege and a means of grace. Through community we point each other to Jesus in ways that are meaningful, sacrificial, and powerful for gospel flourishing in our lives.

A Living Hope

Media, Other Sermons | by Pastor David Parker

Other Sermons
Today we lit the first candle on the advent wreath, in which many call the candle of Hope, because it signifies a longing, an expectation, a Hope of the coming Messiah. So in once sense, we’re celebrating in an ancient historical hope, waiting for the coming of the Messiah, and in another sense, we celebrate Advent in expectation and Hope, because one day Jesus is coming back again (Heb 9:28).
