Today, in 3:21-26, the terrain shifts dramatically as Paul answers the question: In light of our sinful condition (see 1:18-3:20), how can we be made right with God? Is it even possible? In response, he begins to unravel the wonder and glory of justification by faith alone, through grace alone, in Christ alone.
