The Gospel Of God

Media, Romans, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

Romans

We continue our study of the greatest letter ever written the letter of Paul to the Romans or, more simply, Romans. It is a timeless, divinely-inspired masterpiece on the joy-filled freedom found in Jesus. Last week we began with an overview via Romans 1:1. Today we dig into Paul’s opening in 1:1-7. As he begins, Paul carefully foreshadows the contents of his letter: God sent his long- promised Son, for the sake of his people, and the glory of his name, among all the nations. This is news that we too must hear – and – heed for our eternal good.

The Letter of Paul to the Romans

Media, Romans, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

Romans

We begin a great adventure through the greatest letter ever written —the letter of Paul to the Romans. Or, as you probably know it, Romans. It is a timeless, divinely-inspired masterpiece on the freedom that is found in Jesus Christ. It is comprised of sixteen dense chapters of beautiful, life-changing, soul-thrilling truth about God—and about us. God has used Romans in mighty ways throughout the history of his church. Let’s pray that he would do the same among us. Today we get our bearings with an overview of the letter via Romans 1:1.

A Gospel-Forged People in a Divided Age

, Media, New Year Essentials 2019, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

New Year Essentials 2019

This morning we are continuing our new year essentials sermon series. This series addresses important themes that we must repeatedly return to for the glory of God, the good of others, and our ongoing transformation. Today we are going to consider what it means to be a gospel-forged people in a politically divided age. The big question before us is simple, yet profound: as Jesus’ people, how do we not mirror the divisions in the world, but heal them?

Becoming and Being the Body of Christ

Media, Other Sermons | by Pastor Justin Keogh

Other Sermons

What comes to mind when you think of the church? Do you think of the church as a temple, a family, a priesthood, or a body? All of these metaphors are used in scripture to describe the new reality that is formed when we, by God’s grace, through faith in Christ, become believers. These metaphors describe the deeply interconnected nature of our new life together. Today we’ll look at how we’re made into a new body and what that means for us living and serving together.

Indwelt By Jesus

In Christ: What it means to belong to God, Media, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

In Christ: What it means to belong to God

This morning we are concluding our sermon series, “In Christ: What it means to belong to God.” The primary question this series aimed to answer is, “What does it mean to belong to God?” The answer is found in our union with Christ. This relational union is so rich that we’ve taken five weeks to explore it together. Today, we consider how Jesus’ people are not only “in Christ” but Christ is “in them.”

Represented by Jesus

In Christ: What it means to belong to God, Media, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

In Christ: What it means to belong to God

This morning we are beginning a brand new sermon series, “In Christ: What it means to belong to God.” The primary question this series aims to answer is, “What does it actually mean to be a Christian?” Or, to put it differently, “What does it mean to belong to God?” The answer is found in our union with Christ. Today, we consider how Jesus represents his people and, in so doing, gives us a new life-proof identity.

A Rejoicing Life: Old Hope, New Year

Media, Other Sermons | by Pastor Luke Davis

Other Sermons
A new year holds unknown possibilities. When you cast your thoughts forward, how does your heart respond? Apprehension, ambition, fear, hopeful expectation? Our text this morning is an inflection point calling us to look back at the amazing salvation Jesus has secured and the life-transforming hope of being placed in a position of indomitable grace. Certain hope has the effect of reorienting our boasting and giving us a new vision for even the darkest of times.

Raising Image Bearers: Practices

, Media, On Being Human, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

On Being Human

Today, we look at what it means to be human as we raise image bearers and some practical methods for doing so. Ephesians 4:32; Ephesians 5:2, 25; 2 Corinthians 8:7, 9; and Romans 15:7 pertain to concepts of godly parenting: to raise children who fear God and cultivate hearts that trust and love their King. Parenting is an overflow of the heart, and God must be our foundation, example, and goal as our children are formed through our influence on their life.
