A People Devoted to Good Works

Media, Sermons, The Living Word 2022 | by Pastor Justin Keogh

The Living Word 2022

We start the first of five fall sermons in a series we are calling The Living Word, based on Hebrews 4:12, in which God’s Word is described as “living and active.” His Word is alive and changes lives. To demonstrate this we asked five pastors, and leaders, to share a passage the Lord has been using in their lives to convict, comfort and/or challenge them. Our hope is to show the living nature of God’s word today and, in turn, be moved to study it, trust it, and immerse our lives in it. Today, Pastor Justin expounds on Paul’s instructions for our good works in Titus 3:1-8.

Training in Grace for Future Glory

Media, Other Sermons | by Pastor Luke Davis

Other Sermons
The passage of time has perennially called God’s Image Bearers to assess and aspire. A new year calls us to consider past experience and future expectations. God, in His wisdom, has given the Church Titus 2 in part so that we may orient ourselves within the reality renewing good news of Grace and the blessed hope of Glory. Today, in Titus 2:11-14, we will consider the nature of this present age and the transformative work preparing us for the appearing of the glory of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Gospel, Good Works, and the Unborn

, Media, Other Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

Other Sermons
The third Sunday of January has become known as the national Sanctity of Human Life day to coincide with the January 22nd, 1973, Supreme Court decision known as Roe v Wade. That decision removed every state law that previously protected humans in their mother’s womb and made abortion legal in all 50 sates. However, to be emphatically clear, this isn’t merely about politics but is ultimately about God. This morning, we’re going look at how the gospel of Jesus moves and motivates us to a life of good works through Titus 3:3-8, and then consider the implications this has in our defense of the unborn.
